Making Money Monday

Success tips to grow your candy wrapping business.

How to Present Your Portfolio

To Prospective Clients…With Photo Books

This week’s Money Making Monday, we’re talking about using a portfolio made from photo books to present to prospective clients.

Many professions do this and candy wrapper / gift professionals are in the perfect business to use a portfolio.

Why a Portfolio?

Very simply, your portfolio is a collection of high-quality photographs taken of all your past work. It’s the best way for your prospective clients to see the work you do.

I have a website with pictures on it, why do I need a portfolio?

Great question! Even with a website, you may find yourself at a prospective client’s home or office without immediate internet access. For whatever reason, they may in a rush, maybe have a slow internet connection or may not be open to having you sit at their computer.

Let’s clear the air on one thing. While starting, growing and building a successful business is going to be the most rewarding thing you’ve ever done, it is also possibly going to be one of the hardest things you will ever take on.

However! It is probably the most exciting, challenging, personally satisfying and best decision you can ever make….at least in your professional life. Setting your own schedule, being your own boss, calling your own shots…there is nothing like it, yet it doesn’t happen overnight.
